MEGATHREAD Signing Tips, Tricks and Quips (along with howls of despair)

Does anyone know how to order just 9 inch peghooks? I have fastbacks and label holders coming out of my ears, so I don't want to order the full kit.
You have to order the whole thing. Get together with a close store maybe? I've always got extra peghooks....

Had to flip two entire aisles of bedding because the POG team didn't set them correctly. What fun that was.

So....summer signing...fos can wait till next week if world bazaar is still set. But how is it orientated? Straight facing in our running along the front of the checklanes?

I feel like poo and I could have slept in. Rawr.

Mine faces straight at the entrance, our DTL actually surprise visited us that day, didn't say a thing. So I expect it to be the right place, it looks really nice actually.

The best part is that these same overheads will be used for Father's Day, and July 4th, we will all just be changing the text. (I will probably hold off on my BTS/BTC Overheard, as it says it sets before school is even out, as a Kid I would have been pissed off).

Is that where your world bazaar ones were? Or did you even have world bazaar?

Saw a new rollout guide for more pushers being added to market in June and August. We did the first rollout in October and I have been adding pushers in other pogs since then. I laughed when I saw some of the market areas they added I have already switched out, like pushers for the shelved part of AF nuts, frozen vegetables, or the new 28" pushers for cereal. Way to catch up to the rest of us, corporate!

At least this way I am not spending the store's money on ordering several thousands dollars worth of pushers!

Anyone by chance know the number for the Minute Maid topper in the cafe?

Double check your backroom to make sure it's not floating around somewhere. I just found ours yesterday on a random supply pallet, think it only arrived sometime this week. It's about a 15x15x15 box with a small white label saying Minute Maid.

This only my 2nd year as a Signing Specialist. Anyone else noticing a very small number of actually Transition Guides dropping, compared to last year? I am not sure what the average year entails, but I am a BTS/BTC early set store (6/18), and the only thing I see that has dropped in Chemicals/household paper for the week of July 9th.

The only reason I know what BTS/BTC will look like is because of the Signing Update.

If you haven't put up your cloud island overhead up yet, I would suggest putting up the cloud first then the large mobile. The mobile arms get in the way and they are easy to put up with the wave. Also the instruction sheet is no help.

A lot of the transition guides are only available on WB now instead of sending them in the mail. Look under Transition Communication.

I managed to get mine around the mobile arms with the one up pole, just took some careful maneuvering and it keeps the mobile from twisting around too much. I had to add a couple washers for weight on one of my smaller mobiles because they sent me an extra small star instead of an equal number of large ones so the balance was off.

I also ended up using fishing line to secure the online only mobile displays because there were no instructions for how they were supposed to secure to the mobile fixture.

And the spacing of the headers and curtains displays was confusing as well. Spent way more time on this whole pog than I should have needed to.

This is where i primarily look, It doesn't seem, nearly as updated as last years (maybe last year was just an above average year?)

I think they have scaled back on a lot of things compared to years past. Instructions on signing have become guessing games half the time, pogs are often missing the blueprint for peghooks, clarification is lacking on the transition manuals we do get, early set notes mostly contain info about late arriving product. Seems like more and more we are left to just figure it out on our own now.

My etl put up backing paper and set it. I went to change headers and realize they didn't pot the backer under the headers...smdh. opened boxes from pull for mobiles, one or more boxes is a pispick. Etl threw out pog and got prissy when I reminded them out makes my life harder if they toss stuff before its set. Not to mention its not helpful if they half fuck up the pog instead of committing to seething everything, let alone doing it right.

One of our ETLs set this pog too. Actually did a decent job too. Backer paper was right, pegs looked good. She forgot to use the label strips though, but that is minor. The paperwork for the pog was not helpful to me at all in trying to figure out display placement. So I just winged it.
