    Archived Do you miss...

I love the music. It's better than listening to the same stupid ad's on the TV. The lighting, I think, is much better. What I don't like is how jewelry, cheaper stuff though, is spread throughout softlines. As an Elec TM, I have no clue how to direct guests to a particular area, since it doesn't...

    Archived Electronics Demo's

Starting later this month, every weekend will be featuring an electronics demo of some type. Just curious if this is nationwide or a test trial of some type. If your store has received the displays, I'd love to know! We've been test driving quite a lot recently, including a new truck unloading...

Archived Who is in charge of Infant Hardlines at your store?

They pass all the cribs and heavy stuff to electronics, which has got to stop. I've down right refused and told them to do it. If it was up to hardlines, they would pass everything off to electronics. 2/10 calls are for items in kitchen and domestics. It's getting old real quick. For example: AC...

    Archived Stalker at Target

Had that problem has well. I was asked to 'Guest Service" that person by AP over the walkie. Don't think they liked being watched. Which is obviously a good thing.

    Archived Possible termination

Sounds like you passed though just fine. We only have 4 fully qualified ETM's at my store. Myself and another person are the only full-times though. You will work your way up quick, especially if you learn other area's of the store. Find out the area's that are in need of help and learn the...

Archived How Many Red Shirts and Khaki Pants do you Own?

3 bullseye jackets, 4 bullseye shirts, 4 pairs of kahki's, 2 lightweight longsleeve bullseye zippers. I'm a bullseye shopper. x.x

    Archived New Cashier! Help!

Definitely pay attention to coupons. If unsure, ask a GSA by hitting the call button. Some people look for new cashiers and take advantage of them. Don't put yourself in that situation. Better that they wait and get annoyed, than the store loose money from fraud coupons or multi split purchases...

Archived Back to School vs Xmas

For the record.... the Electronics Team does suffer the most from these events. Usually only one person is working that busy area. We get the re-shop during back to school, but have support over x-mas season. My store is the only store in the district that has not had an electronics TM quit in...

    Archived New to Flexible Fulfillment

FlexFill is definitely a nice area. I don't do the pack-and-ship aspect or collection for orders to be shipped out, but I have done the OPU's off the same system. It's a great way of getting to know the store. After a month, you will pretty much know where things are in each aisle. The toughest...

    Archived New Cashier :)))

Welcome to Spot! :) A good idea as well is to focus on coupon training. Spot has been inundated recently with fake, invalid coupons. If something is fishy... hit that call button for the GSA. Never be afraid to ask for help, especially when new. All TM's have cashier training and senior TM's...

    MEGATHREAD Target myDevices

Got them as well! more than enough for all TM's on a busy schedule ^.^

    Archived More Devices!!

Our store has about 20 right now. Just got some new one's and some more radios in after the remodel. Definitely an improvement for busy days.

Archived Cashier needing help with Checks

Definitely a good idea to speak with your GSTL. If, however, they are unavailable, go to an Electronics TM and have them show you the process. They are all cashier trained and have excellent fraud detection skills. Good luck!! :)

    Archived Taking over Target Mobile

3 stores in my area lost mobile. So far, we have had a number of guests come in complaining about it. I felt terrible for our Mobile rep. The level of hostility from the guests was unacceptable. It's going to be a rough 4th quarter if Target can't find a way of supporting the electronics...

Who recently quit at your store?

I don't see that link from my end. Though I've only just begun using Workbench.

    Archived Remodel Photo Dump

I'm definitely taking pictures of the store after remodel. They failed to replace all of the tiles, didn't update the carts, and there are still massive issues with certain necessary items. *is very bummed out :(*

    Archived Price checkers

We started doing that a couple months ago, and the number of issues has drastically decreased. Definitely something to be added to the daily workflow!

    Archived Huddle.

It's an every now and then thing at my store. Really depends on what is going on. Evening shift on weekends has very senior TM's, so it's generally skipped. Mainly it's because everyone knows what needs to get done and has multiple skill levels to assist in other areas. I do enjoy huddle on...

    Archived Workday

Would be super nice if they made this app the default for everything, including the work schedule. It is much smoother than Kronos and definitely a step up from EHR. Not everything is perfect yet, but it did just launch for Target.

Archived How much should a GSTL make and how much should a GSA make?

I believe that the GSA's still start at the same wage as an Electronics TM, which is $0.50 above normal start wage.
