Anyone set any transcend Pogs yet this week? I know cosmetics isn’t until next week but I had a couple random transcend Pogs this week. Apparently they’re not using the nice fancy scan sheets under the bull noses anymore and sent out 1 foot label strips to cut and put under them. Only 1 problem with this is the labels are so squished together you can’t scan anything so it defeats the purpose. The whole reason for the last ones is they were vertical and could fit them all nicely. Am I stupid or is this just another stupid “fix” Target did. The picture I posted is the older scan strips I’m talking about

Nothing Target does is stupid. It's to save money. The fact it doesn't scan is the store's problem. That's how I feel a lot if the "fixes" fuck us.

I can’t imagine it’s saving money it’s just printing the same information in a different store way. There’s a different vendor for the label strips now but I can imagine they print a lot of stuff other than targets labels

Update of original post -original schedule we were given 10 hours to refresh the fixture room, the shifts DISAPPEARED.
No one came in. (I don’t get how - were these tm told ? Not sure)
Today SD asks “it will be finished by Friday right ?”
In who’s dream world does something get done with no one working on it ?!
I honestly couldn’t answer - my jaw was too far to the floor.
I fear I have fallen into Alice in Wonderlands rabbit hole!

They were pretty much just a big revision. We finished them all in half the time as well.

All three of mine are shifting product and definitely not more like revisions. Have set two of the three so far.

@gsa4lyfe I have the old style label strips for the Naturals pog but have not looked into next week's label strip box to see what cosmetics ones look like yet. If mine are like you say, I'm going to skip using them and just print all labels.

You got them for the naturals pog? All I got was the regular label strips for natural as well. I got a pack of sheets of labels I thought would be the transcend ones but it was just sheets of regular labels and the header for every sheet said “fact tag labels”. They also send regular labels for every single cosmetic POG this week and I mean all of them on full sized labels. I have an 8 inch high stack of labels that are all trash because I can’t even use them for the display labels since they’re full sized and not cosmetics

That's super weird! I did get regular size fact tag labels for pogs like suncare and skincare which I thought was strange. I'm going to open up that label strip box tomorrow to see what I got for next week. I don't want to be surprised when I need to start setting!!

I would double check with your ETL AP if you have one. Our APBP called us out for having the shelving double stacked like this. This is how my store did it for the 4 years I've been here. Now they only want one shelf per slot and to palatalize any extra.

I would double check with your ETL AP if you have one. Our APBP called us out for having the shelving double stacked like this. This is how my store did it for the 4 years I've been here. Now they only want one shelf per slot and to palatalize any extra.

I don't even want to ask, if they did that at my store we would get in trouble 1 because we don't have space for more pallets of shelves we already have 4. And also our dtl gets mad when we have even 1 pallet of shelves

Why do you have that many pallets of shelves? Start sweeping stuff back if you can. Should really only have spare pallets of 48x18s. We hardly use 22s and 20s anymore. We keep 5 28s ( diapers) and 2 32s (soda vendors).

After reading all of your comments, my store is fucked. No way can any of this be accomplished with no hours. Dumbass management.

Besides not even doing the the refresh, it seems all the old signing will need to be purged. No hours for that. And the new signing put in place. No hours.

It makes me really question the intelligence of some of the people who are above me in the hierarchy of Target.

We received the bullnose strip for Naturals as pictured. They were behind the pack of labels that came in the box of strips.

Have either of your stores been updating sfc/sfq as you are setting? And if you are, have you noticed any big issues with counts? Things like sales floor counts for brand new items so the backstocked items don't pull even though the shelf is empty, sales floor counts not updating after you pull/push, sales floor counts matching sfq instead of actual on hands, items not pulling in a pog or exf batch and will only come out if locu'd.

Can ANYONE fully explain the pretie fiasco I went through today?

My SD and another store's SD emerge from the office and walk our shampoo aisles, which we just finished. He asks if we broke the preties before we tied the aisles. No I said. He said our OH's are off because we tied the aisles without breaking the preties first. What?? I've never done that before.

What's the point of pretying aisles then? According to our SD, we aren't allowed to trap product anymore on skids. It must go out with the DBO to either be pushed to the floor or backstocked. Why pretie then?

And if I hear the word "data" again, I'm going to scream.
