"don't overstock." That's realistic. What percentage of all stores do you think don't overstock? And where in your calculations factors in when TLs just grab stuff from aisles to put on endcaps without tieing? The problem is when corporate comes up with processes they base them on the assumption...

Archived New schedules for CAF pulls

I remember when I first started in IS I was told our job was research, not replenishment. It works better when I focus on replenishment. I think adding an afternoon IS shift with this process might be beneficial.

Archived New schedules for CAF pulls

We're a low volume store. It's shameful. There's no excuse and everyone knows it. Glad to see we're not alone.

From IS perspective this would be awesome! Right now with a 6am unload Flow is lucky to get half way thru the store when CAFs start dropping at 11am.

    Archived Instocks Scanning Times

For some reason I thought IS had 6 hours to scan so if the task list drops at 6:30 they shoot until 12:30. The thing with stopping at 11 as to not conflict with CAFs is nonsense. 11am CAFs were created to so 12am CAFs would be more manageable. So if 11-12am used to be research only and 12-1 were...

    Archived SFQ

I guess I should have specified, in research mode you aren't supposed to change SFQ if there are on hands. So if there is 0 on the sales floor, none in back but 123 on hands, you can't zero it out. Basically those on hands are unaccounted for they can be staged, in reshop etc. At some point...

It's not the scanning schedule, it's the SFQ. Get this you're not supposed to change counts if there are on hands. I'm still trying to figure out what to do when there is visibly nothing on the shelf and the MyDevice can say 0 on Sales Floor and none in back but there are On Hands. The only way...

Can someone explain to me what a typical day looks like? I was told each dept. gets 4x4 every day before research. What time does the team come in? What happens at stores with 6am unload that conflicts with the daily targeted dept.?

The way I understand it if you are currently in one workcenter but pick up shifts in another workcenter with a higher paygrade so long as half your shifts are in the first workcenter you don't get the raise. That's how they get you.

They could reward me for my good attendance by punishing those with bad attendance. What's the motivation for me not to call out when TMs can call out frequently without consequence?!
