Simply Curious. I've been keeping in touch with past coworkers, and a lot of seeking other work due to changes. However we still have the lifers here, like the older softline ladies that have been with the store for like 20 years and will probably work there until retirment
So are you a lifer...
Thought this would be a "fun" little thread
I my store in the last month...
AP
ETL AP
3 BRTMs
2 Plano
1 Fired Food TL
2 more BRTMs
If you've keep up with my shit posting, all out BRTMs have either quit or given notices all due to extremely low hours.
Now our ETL HR just call and asked if...
Or do you still go above and beyond? I recently learned that a lot of our TMs are leaving. Some quit, others found internships and the like. In the process a lot of current TMs are pretty much doing the bare minimum. And so am I. Job is a lot easier when you stop trying to get the impossible...
Just curious. A few of my coworkers picked up jobs and because they were only getting like 8-10 hours a week broken up into random days
They said they would rather just work one day but hr said no because business demands or whatever. At least 3 have taken LOAs under the guies of "school" when...
Is anyone else's store doing. The are getting scheduled from 4am to 8 but they keep getting told to leave at 7. The check they hours online and it looks like leaders keep going in the day before and changing their shifts to 3 hours
They started this stuff my store. GSTMs will now do the morning rts that see due before 9.
Seems like a dumb idea because they already started started typing in the dcpis for orders they messed up and forgot to process. This is leading to incorrect counts because a lot of out gstm close then...
Is there anything in the team member handbook about?
Recently two of our srtls have been telling us BRTM to tell SFS tms to do other things
Like, they would be picking, and were are told when they come back, tell them to push clearance to certain endcaps
But I get paid the same as them...
Seriously. People have literally no fucking idea what they are doing. We have lazy people who "can't reach shelf C 08", people who scan all the items on a steel shelf when they can't find the item in that one location. Shit, today someone pulled ice cream for a guest and not only pulled the...
Out system is down. Do apps sent in through the store get seen first? I'm trying to get out of backroom before this whole process goes to shit. Probably as PMT as there are a bunch of empty stops in out district for some reason.
Can I get shafted for applying on my own?
It's kinda an unspoken that you should bust it out when it freezes in the freezer. Almost none of our pdas have them anymore. It's a lot easier than waiting for it to unfog. I'm guilty of it. As well, anyone else ever do it?
One of the few things I like about our store is this. Especially if you're backroom or flow. You're really getting anymore done since you still take a 30 instead of leaving at like 5 before complience
Ours has a habit of doing that. Like, everyone is on a lane and the only HLTM is covering Electronics and fitting roof
Is there some rulebook that tells them to scream over the walkie when literally only 2 guest are in line?
So today, the SF ETL who I don't even report to asked me and the closer to "watch" the Market, COSM and SF tms to see if they are slacking. This is because when there only a LOD to close and no other TL in the store, they E2E TMs just sit on flats and talk about nothing while the SFTMs complain...
All the ETLs on last week have randomly pestered me doing this in 2 months. But I have no idea what it means or is? We are already a pfresh store. Why would they want a Backroom tm for what seems like a Plano or salefloor issue
It's hot a shit here. People are sweating though the back of their shirts. It's not even that it's not there they just won't turn it on and only uses it for the floor
Read the op
In short do you E2E, backrooms hours were massively cut. Not really a problem since we knew from here in advance and started job searching
But for now we are getting random 4 hour shifts in the back 6 days a week. At the risk of sounding totally conceded, I don't do 4 hour shifts...
Mine does. Makes it arkward to no call no show. Some say it's shows they care but eh. More like making sure you're coming in so they aren't inconvenience
Like today, we didn't have a opening brtm and the SFS TM called out. The flow TL texted me before I got in (,he leaves before me,) that I'd need to do a bunch of shit like help pick/pack,2 audits, all the cafs and all the research, exfs, flexes, and process all the sts and other shit.
Honestly...
We were just informed today of this. All ESIM ST charge back must be done. Apparently anything left 0ver if finable. We got hit for 14k per ITEM not dcpi.
Another task added to Backroom without the hours to actually do the job.
