Pretty much the thread title. I was wondering if anyone has seen a Sr flow tl work an LOD shift while running a truck. What tips do you have for running the truck and the store at the same time?
Apparently my store is going from a 10pm to a 4am store. Anyone who works at a 4am store how does the ETL leadership change/do they cut the flow leaders/presentation leaders? Combine them? What happens during this process?
Had a visit recently and one of the group leaders hinted at the speed of trailer unloading going faster in the coming year. They said that most, if not all, of the product will be palletized. Sounds good for stores, not so much for DCs. Anyone else hear anything about this?
Hi, new forum member here. :)
I've been working overnights at a Super Target for almost 3 months now. I was originally hired as a flow team member, which was interesting because the guy who trained me spoke 3 words of English, so I mostly figured things out myself. After around a month on...
How often do you guys have everything out on the floor before you head out? Any tips, tricks, ideas for a quicker and more efficient means of getting done in a timely manner?
The reason I ask is my team often has trouble coming clean, even just on carts. We get quite a bit in each morning, but...
Just curious how you all deal with the role of flow/backroom TL position. I'm possibly in a position of take on the role. I'm from a much larger store where the two are separated. Just curious how you juggle the two different teams, and instocks on top of it. Would appreciate any input.
our ETL LOG will give a direction and put into play a plan. then, the flow team leader comes along and questions what you are doing, reminding you that thats not what they said to do. when explaining to the ETL why the plan they put into play isnt followed, and that the TL redirected them, the...
I've been a cashier/guest service forever and id love to switch over to the flow team however my ETL- HR won't have it. She basically told me you do so wonderful at guest service and you are a great cashier!! It really annoys me that they won't allow me to switch over to flow team because...
Got a bomb dropped on us today, I heard all stores flow teams that aren't overnight "right now" are not going overnight for Fourth Quarter...
I am not sure if it is just my district or not, but these seems like it is going to be an epic disaster, not only that but we are opening at 7 am now.
So I've been at Target for about a year now as an overnight stock team member. I get along with my TL's and ETL, I'm pretty sure they like me, I stay late when asked etc. Anyway, my ETL comes up to me the other day and said they're gonna put me on presentation. It kind of caught me off guard so...
I work softlines in the morning doing stock, I'm seriously considering quitting. We have a lot of issues & no support at all from TM's not ever the STL. Our team is way understaffed & we keep getting big shipments for our area, also no one ever zones any part of softlines which makes it...
Ok, so I know my store is not the only store that orders trailers for the o/n unload when you already have A lot of freight in your store. When you to the point where you can't really tell push from backstock, isn't it time for you to cancel a trailer to "catch" yourself?? Breakroom, please...
28-30 TMs on a 2300 truck? 15 unloading. How long SHOULD it take, starting at 4am? I'm finding it difficult to get done by our scheduled time out, by 9am. What works for u?
Hello!
I'm interviewing for a flow team leader position soon and was just wondering what to expect. The interview is with the DTL, I've already been through 2 interviews with an ETL, and STL & HR. I've been given great feedback and was told I interviewed exceptionally well. If I get the...
I was just asked by ETL-GE to become a GSA and I'm not quite sure if I should take it or not. Currently, I've been on flow for the last 9 months and are not desperate to leave but the 5am and 15 hours a week is getting old. I've asked to be moved into backroom (I'm already trained) but they just...
I was looking at the release notes for the winter PDA update, and it looks like they removed the app used to acknowledge trailers in RFapps since the same functionality is in the Receive web app on the PDA.
The problem is that nobody at my store noticed a few months ago when we were told to...
My store's taking the first double in years, since several years before I started working there. I'm not looking forward to it, but I'm kind of interested in seeing how we deal with it. We never push a truck during open hours, so this'll be different.
We typically have a 4am start time, 3am...
